Custom Cable Assemblies

So you know you want some Big Orange Cable, but you want to put some connectors on it. Oh wait, you don't have the the $2000 crimper for the connector you want to use just this one time? 

While Big Orange Cable focuses on stocking and shipping cable, we've partnered with Carterm Design to offer HV cable fabrication services. They are focused on automotive electronics consulting, design, and prototype assemblies.

The typical process goes a little something like this:

• Confirm that Big Orange Cable will work with the connectors for your motor, inverter, or battery project,
• Put together some drawings for your approval,
• Order and install the connectors them onto your Big Orange Cable purchase, then test them to manufacturers specs,
• Ship them to you!

Carterm also designs and build low voltage assemblies, so if you need help wiring up your inverter to the rest of your wire harness, they can help with that too.
