Just because our cable is big doesn't mean our waste footprint has to be. Let's talk briefly about how your Big Orange Cable order is packaged.
- You'll first notice that your package comes with paper fill. Please recycle (or better yet, reuse) this material after unwrapping your order.
- Often quantities of an item, for example: multiple rolls of tape, are bagged together. This material can often be recycled wherever flexible film is accepted, usually at your local grocery store.
- Instead of plastic cable ties we bundle our cable and conduit with some orange Velcro strapping so it can be reused over and over again after you receive your order.
These are just some of the small ways that are are attempting to reduce our waste footprint. And you remember the biggest way to reduce your waste right? Only buy the amount of cable that you need!
